Ingredients & Packaging

We believe in transparency in the ingredients and the packaging we use in our dog treat bakery.

Flours - All of our wheat free treats use Maine grown organic oats. Our grain free treats use non-GMO chickpea flour. Some treats also use organic brown rice flour.

Honey - Honey Biscuits uses real, raw, unfiltered honey from Maine.

Eggs - we only ever use farm fresh Maine eggs.

Blueberries - we use local, organic, wild Maine blueberries.

Peanut Butter - We use only dog-safe, unsalted peanut butter. The peanut butter is tested by the manufacturer for aflatoxin both pre and post production.

Fish - we use Wild Planet™ wild caught sardines from the north Pacific for our Fish Bites.

Vegetables - Some treats contain carrots and kale. These vegetables are always organic and sourced from locally from Maine whenever possible.

Packaging - All of our standup treat pouches and flat heat sealed bags are U.S. made and 100% compostable packaging (including the zipper, label and adhesive). The pouches are certified for both home and commercial composting. Please just note that results of home composting will vary since home composting temperature are not regulated in the way that industry/commercial facilities are.

The pouches are vegan, non-GMO and made without PLA. The pouches are free from harmful chemicals such as BPA, PFAS and phthalates.
